About Bright Arcade
Bright Arcade is a collection of free educational games designed to support student learning across a range of curriculum areas. The website was developed from classroom experience and is intended for both classroom and home use. It aims to provide engaging, accessible and purposeful educational activities that students can use at school or at home.
Bright Arcade is not-for-profit, ad-free and designed to be simple, safe and accessible for students and teachers.
Why Bright Arcade Was Created
Bright Arcade was developed based on classroom experience as a NSW primary school teacher. The aim was to create educational games that are engaging, easy to access and focused on meaningful learning. Activities are designed to support student skill development while remaining simple for teachers to incorporate into classroom learning.

How to Use Bright Arcade in the Classroom
Bright Arcade games are designed to be flexible and can be used in a variety of classroom settings. Most games take only a few minutes to play, making them suitable for lesson warm-ups, revision activities, learning rotations and early finisher tasks.
Before a Lesson
Introduce the skill being practised and demonstrate the game on an interactive whiteboard. Discuss strategies students can use and encourage them to focus on accuracy as well as speed.
During Literacy Lessons
Games such as Speed Typer, Silly Sentences, Word Builder, Word Detective, Grid Words, Gross Match and Sentence Scramble can be used to reinforce vocabulary, spelling, sentence structure and reading skills.
During Mathematics Lessons
